Baumit Plastic Base Profile Therm – 2000mm

This Baumit Plastic Base Profile Therm is designed to protect the underside of the first row of Baumit insulation boards. It should be mechanically fixed to the substrate level with the damp proof course for the best effect. This provides the horizontal line for installing the panels and reinforcement of the bottom edge of the insulation system.

Delivering a solid foundation for fixing Baumit insulation boards, these Baumit Base Profiles help stabilise the exterior to prevent cracking. Made of plastic to minimise thermal bridges, they come with a drip edge trim, bonded glass fibre mesh and connector pin system to prevent cracking at the connection joints.
