Baumit SilikonTop Silicone Resin Based K3 Finish Render – 25kg

With a 3mm grain size, Baumit SilikonTop K3 is a ready to use and easy to apply wet topcoat render that is suitable for external use. With superior protection, it can be installed in exposed or high traffic areas susceptible to adverse weather conditions. Both highly permeable and water repellent, the surface can successfully cope with the British weather.

Ready-mixed, Baumit SilikonTop is easy to apply using a trowel or spray machine and it should be left to dry for at least 14 days between coatings. Baumit SilikonTop K3mm has a typical coverage of 3.9kg/m². Each 25kg tub can cover up to 10m² depending on surface preparation.

If Baumit UniPrimer has been applied beforehand, Baumit SilikonTop can be applied onto a range of surface types. It is also suitable for external wall insulation with the appropriate preparation, cement and lime render, organic basecoats, gypsum plasters and numerous other surfaces.

Bested suited to applications over new and old mineral coatings or prepared surfaces, Baumit SilikonTop is a wet topcoat that dries best between 5°C and 20°C and 60% humidity when in conjunction with Baumit UniPrimer. Application in cooler temperatures or higher humidity can cause longer drying times.
