Baumit SupraFix Timber Adhesive – 25kg

Baumit SupraFix is a ready-mixed flexible adhesive for bonding facade insulation boards onto wooden, concrete or bitumen surfaces. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, this product is ideal for use with Baumit OpenSystem EWI system and other applications. It is a very flexible adhesive for BaseTherm XPS, EPS, mineral and other Baumit insulation boards.

Baumit SupraFix can be mixed and applied onto wood, bitumen or concrete surfaces. Wooden surfaces must be suitably prepared and moisture-free. There should be no risk of shrinking or swelling within the wood before applying Baumit SupraFix.

Baumit SupraFix provides:

• Flexible adhesive with superior bonding qualities.
• Suitable for concrete, bitumen and wooden surfaces.
• Ready mixed formula that just needs water.
• Good workability with around 90 minutes work time.
• Suitable for a range of Baumit insulation boards.

Typical use of Baumit SupraFix

Baumit SupraFix is supplied as a dry adhesive mortar for internal or external use. It provides excellent adhesion for Baumit facade insulation boards and comes ready mixed. Application is straightforward and the product has very good workability.

Baumit SupraFix should be added to clean water and mixed until creamy. It then needs to be left for five minutes before a further mix and then it is ready for application. Surfaces need adequate preparation and any wooden surface needs to be dry and ready for covering. Coverage is approximately 2-2.5kg/m2 when used as thin layer adhesive and 4-5kg/m2 when used as standard layer adhesive.
