Danelaw LR150TT roof underlay is a temporary weather protection cover for roofs where tiles and slates have yet to be laid. Durable and UV resistant, this product has integral tapes for sealing overlaps and increased weathertightness. The integral tape system will seal horizontal overlaps, perfect for securing even further in moist or dusty conditions.
BBA approved in warm roofs and cold roofs, the recommended maximum exposure for Danelaw LR150TT underlay is 3 months, however, the sooner the tiles or slates are installed, the better. Danelaw LR150TT can be installed in a roof structure without any ventilation as long as a VCL has been installed and there is a well-sealed ceiling.
When other construction work on the build is taking place, you must take care to stop oil and petrol from coming into contact with the underlay, which can often happen due to the use of power tools. It’s also important to ensure that Danelaw LR150TT underlay doesn’t encounter water-based timber treatments or wet solvents.
As defined in BS 5250 Annex H, Danelaw LR150TT is a type LR underlay with high quality and low resistance. This roofing underlay can be installed in unsupported applications draped over rafters or in supported applications over timber sarking or rigid insulation.
Independently tested by the BRE, this Danelaw underlay can be used at a 250mm batten gauge and 345mm batten gauge unsupported in all wind uplift zones.
