It also has a Euroclass Fire Rating of B, S1, D0, which means this Passive Purple Airtight Vapour Control Membrane Spray makes limited or zero contribution to fire and will not create flaming particles or droplets when subjected to fire. It also causes little or insignificantly to the development of smoke.

Please note:
- Before applying, it is important to first prepare the surface by removing dust and loose materials.
- Plaster or plasterboard adhesive will adhere to Passive Purple in the same manner as if sticking directly to block, brick or concrete.
- Do not add water or solvents
- Do not apply in full sunlight or during rain.
- When applying Passive Purple External on insulation boards, use textile to reinforce the joints of the boards, in between 2 layers of Passive Purple External if joint movement is an issue.
