JCW Fire Rated Luminaire Covers – 600mm X 1200mm

20mm thick and unaffected by any moisture build-up in the space, each JCW fire rated luminaire cover provides up to 60 minutes of fire protection for areas where fire resistant ceiling tiles have been replaced with light fittings.

Luminaire covers are easy to fit as they self-locate and there’s no need for any specialist equipment, screws or drilling. Ventilation slots reduce any heat build up and expanding char fills these slots in the event of a fire, so the fire won’t penetrate the ceiling. In turn this means the chances of dust or insulation igniting in the ceiling is very slim.
