Knauf DriTherm 37 125mm Cavity Wall Insulation Slab – 3.28m2 Pack

Providing an ideal insulation solution for your external masonry cavity walls, these DriTherm® Cavity Slabs 37 are made from water-repellent glass mineral wool that offers unmatched thermal performance. Non-combustible and completely filling the cavity, they are perfect for full-fill cavity walls as they minimise the risk of fire spreading, removing the need for cavity barriers.

With the highest Euroclass A1 rating for reaction to fire and environmentally friendly ECOSE® Technology which utilises a unique bio-based binder, these Knauf DriTherm® Slabs fit snugly between wall ties, eliminating the necessity for retaining discs.

These slabs are suitable for buildings up to 12m high in any exposure zone and multi-storey applications up to 25m in height. The British Board of Agrément (BBA) has certified them for use in all exposure zones, including extreme environments. They are resistant to moisture transmission across the cavity or below the damp proof course level and they will not transmit water to the inner leaf.

Unlike rigid boards, these DriTherm® Cavity Slabs are simple to install and can adapt to the substrate’s minor imperfections, knitting together to prevent any air gaps, ensuring optimal performance. They are lightweight, easy to handle and can be cut to size with ease. They are odourless, rot-proof and are also resistant to vermin infestation as well as the growth of mould and bacteria. They come in polythene packs for short-term protection.

• For longer-term storage on-site, it is best to keep this Knauf DriTherm® insulation indoors and covered and off the ground to maintain its effectiveness as exposure to the elements can impact its performance.
