Well-known for its efficiency and thin profile, Kooltherm pipe insulation suits use for HVAC and building services in range of sectors, including residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and leisure. It can be utilised in new build and renovation projects, while also being a cost-effective option with high performance in insulation efficiency, fire resistance, low smoke emission, and compressive strength.
The dense cross-linked structure of this insulation is difficult to ignite. It also creates a durable carbonaceous layer on its exterior when subject to fire, which helps to lower heat generation and prevent further flames from spreading. Kooltherm pipe insulation has a best-in-class European Reaction to Fire performance of BL,s1,d0 and is FM approved in accordance with the Approval Standard Class 4924, supplying it with exceptional fire and smoke performance characteristics that make it compatible with its intended applications.
