Kooltherm high-performance pipe insulation makes an effective solution for long-term energy saving. It is thin and efficient, and products perform fantastically in terms of fire resistance, compressive strength, insulation efficiency and low smoke emission. As well as being cost-effective, they are CFC/HCFC-free, non-fibrous, premium performance rigid thermoset modified resin insulants.

Not only based on award winning patented technology, but Kooltherm Pipe Insulation products are made with blowing agents that are in low in Global Warming Potential (GWP) and have zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). In terms of performance, application methods and factory production control, products are reviewed and certified by KIWA NV Technically Assessment Body. Performance is also tested by Local Authority Building Control and covered by an LABC Warranty.

Structures are densely cross-linked to make ignition more difficult and external surfaces form strong carbonaceous layers when subjected to fire. Heat generation is prevented as a result, in turn avoiding spreading flames. Excellent fire and smoke performance characteristics are determined by its FM Approval Standard Class 4924 and exceptional European Reaction to Fire performance of BL,s1,d0.
