This ROCKWOOL fire-rated silicone sealant is perfect for construction projects as it offers exceptional unprimed adhesion to most surfaces. It is a one-part alkoxy-cure silicone, ideal for sealing joints in high-specification situations. This sealant is designed specifically for joints with a high-movement capacity and is suitable for use between different substrates, such as masonry and steel.

For use in joints up to 40mm wide, this ROCKWOOL fire-rated silicone sealant provides up to four hours of fire protection when applied according to the manufacturer’s instructions and has been tested to BS 476: Part 20 for compliance.

This box includes 25 units of 310ml cartridges, each of which can be loaded into a standard sealant gun. Before use, it’s recommended that a small area of the substrate is tested prior to application to ensure optimal adhesion. Clean all substrates before applying the sealant for the best results and ensure the ambient temperature is at least 5°C.
