This multi-use, dual-purpose thermal and acoustic insulation functions in two distinct ways to minimise noise either by absorbing sound at the surface or by impeding the transmission of sound through an element of the structure. The structure of the fibres makes these RW slabs ideal for use as a sound absorber with naturally high coefficients over a vast frequency range.

These ROCKWOOL slabs obtain an A1 classification in accordance with BS EN 13501-1 and comply with the specifications of non-combustible products/materials as defined in all UK and Ireland Building Regulations.
