Ready to use as a single component, this SOUDAFOAM FR from Soudal is a self-expanding polyurethane foam that uses propellants which are completely harmless to the ozone layer. It has a fire rating that can last up to 360 minutes in certain configurations.

Ideal for use in various passive fire protection systems, this SOUDAFOAM FR foam can be used as a large gap filler, for installation of fire retardant door and window frames and sealing of expansion and connection joints and penetration seals. When applied, the foam expands up to 35 to 40 times its initial volume and forms an effective seal against gas and smoke. It has excellent adhesion on most substrates, excluding PP, PE and Teflon, and fantastic stability with no shrink or post-expansion.
